Cruising up to Lake Texoma the other day and BAM....pulled over and took pics. Searched the net and came up with nothing except a Ft. Worth company called Water Walker.

I think it was an alien left behind device from a recent visit to Earth searching for any form of intelligent life and leaving with total disappointment...

I'm pretty sure that's the vehicle Capt. Kirk used on Tarsus IV.

That is a funny looking...thing (can't call it a boat). What's even funnier is that it is the embodiment of a design I thought up as a teenager, proly 40 years ago. Never imagined anyone would ever actually build one.

It took me a second look to see the trollin motor on that thing....so it floats on the three feet....originally though they might be hover type contraptions....

It's called a "water walker" and I never saw it in the water, just sitting in a lot with a bunch of other "beautiful junk." We're going back on Tuesday to see if its for sale......
Maybe everyone want's to pitch in......you can use it whenever you like!

You could maybe rig a couple of waverunner jets in those rear pontoon legs, then steer it with throttles :D

Re: I bet you NEVER, EVER, EVER saw one of these!!!

There is a small lake near my town that only allows electric motors. The 'Water Strider' I designed in '73 was supposed to be a tiny little fishin' craft just for that one little lake. Something between a float tube and a mini pontoon.
I think my design would have been easier to disassemble than this one though we'll never know. :D
