Also would help to know where you are from, Probably get a lot more stuff if people did not have to think about shipping and handeling..

Rbozzi Nice find. I have 2 starcrafts and bought a glasser A Fiber Form for the river. Needed a smaller boat. Your boat looks nice And will perform better if you get the motor on it mounted straight. It is crooked and will, and prob. does not center the push forward that it should. Its very noticible. It may put torque on the transom more than it would if corrected. What is it you need these guys have something left over after rebuilds.

Well Pics of the original would be awesome for referance. I also need the right rear peice of Aluminum trim replaced . In the fall Im going to strip her down and replace the floor in it,so advice on that would be great . The bumper gaurd needs to be replaced etc... You Starcraft fans are very cool for helping a newbie out : ) . I also need advice on spraying the topside . I dont have the funs for gelcoat so I think i will try to spray poly topside paint . I am making the seats as the in the original so finding the seat brackets tat mount to the side of the boat would be great . I took her out the maiden voyage and is was so awesome . My buddy did a ton of work on this old 1968 Johnson 40 horse . The boat is a 1973 Starcraft Arrow and the trailer is from 1968 . I live in Livonia Michigan so i have no shortage of water around me .

I'll be straight up with ya....99% of us have aluminum Starcrafts. That's the explanation for the lack of posts. Also, any brochures that we have had access to have been added to the brochure thread so if it ain't there, we just don't have it. You probably have the only, or one of the only Arrows on here. As for parts, there really aren't model-specific boat parts available. Heck you'd have a hard time finding something for a 1993 Bayliner let alone a '73 anything else. You pretty much have to fabricate or adapt whatever you can find.

That being said, when you're ready to tear into her, start a resto thread in the Restoration section of this web site. That's where all the fiberglass guys hang out and you'll get the best help.

Rbozzi, Welcome!

As EZ stated, your a pioneer around here with the fiber SC but you are MOST WELCOME! We tinheads need someone with a different desire than aluminum tubs to keep us all in line. It probably has been too long since someone had a fiberglass SC and posted some use and repair posts!

There is a site dedicated to fiberglass classics out there, NEVER would I send you away from the starcraft iboats forum, but check that out IN ADDITION to the iboats stuff.

Were here for ya, love to help anybody whos boating and if anyone gives you crap just threaten to throw mercury in their boat! :)

Hi thanks for the heads up . Do you mean crooked vertically or Horizontally ?And how can i fix this ? Im brand new at this stuff so any help is accepted : ) . I did notice it was dog tracking a bit on the water . But man what a feeling to finally get her in the water . Now come the clean up and restoration of the faded gel coat and repainting the motor and what not .

Its not level on the port side as you look at it from the front. Unless the mount was loosened and reset you may have to re-drill a mounting hole, Hope not, Some were able to do this some not. If you have to redrill a mounting hole be sure to plug the old hole, I have used dowells to do this. A bit shortr then needed so you can seal the ends. My suggestion would be a small box or Marine -Tex In white color . Its not level vertically .
