I bought a 1970 Nemha? or atleast thats what it says on the title, its a 18ft v hull with a 160hp mercruiser I/O. i was wondering if nehma was actually the company name or if it was an abbrieviation for a longer name. i also wondered what model the 18ft 160hp would be because it doesnt say a modle on the title.

ok, i found that it is a newman 18ft v hull. are there any problems i should look for in this boat?<br />EDIT: on the nada website it doesnt show a 1970 model boat, but the title says 1970 and the boat says newman on it.

I have never heard of the brand, so I can't say one way or the other. If it's in good shape and the floor is solid, then it's probably OK. Maybe others will be more familiar with that brand...Look like this??<br /><br />

yes, it loos almost exactly like that, I am replacing the floor today, everything underneath the floor seems solid, the boat has a tandem axle trailer with brakes and it also has a new carb and steering cable, i paid 500$ for it. it sputters barely at an idle but runs great otherwise. he said that he never adjusted the new carb because he didnt know how so im going to hav that adjusted and also put new plugs/wires on it.<br />I'm very glad to be back into boating, its been way too long to have not been on the water.

I'm located in a small town in mid missouri called Marshall. Before i bought a boat i regestered here because all of the people here seemed very helpful and positive in there posts and there arent many forums like that anymore.
