I can not find basic parts for my johnson

I am looking for real basic parts for my 18 hp johnson 1961 fd-15. I need a carb kit with float. and a tune up kit. I thought that these would be real basic. I found the carb kit without the float but i want to replace the float also while i have the thing open I can not even find anyone the stocks the float by itself. also a tune up kit that replaces most of the parts uder the flywheel. if anyone knows someone that actually stocks parts please let me know.

Those are common easy parts to find. The carb kit with the float is available at a OMC dealer. Other parts are available at vintageoutboards.com and other places. In Canada at marinemanifold.com.

Carburetor kit is part number 439071, should include a float.
Cork float alone was 375919, is replaced by a moden Ethanol resistant float 396514.

Above parts available from any Evinrude dealer.

All that stuff under the flywheel is available right here at iboats.

Get what you can through iboats.. won't find cheaper. They have sierra aftermarket parts, and the carb kit has no float. Omc dealer w/BRP parts will have access to float alone. Should be BRP # 0396514
