Hey guys, I've owned this boat for two years, in which I've done nothing but alter this boat to my liking, and never even really thought about which model it was.... until I looked through the starcraft restorations and found nothing that looked like my sweetheart. So heres some pics, but keep in mind their was a center bench, right side sheet metal console, there were no lights, cleats, bilge outlet or water seperator, and its a 14 foot v-hull.

The reason why I was looking up resto's is because i was wondering if i should have applied epoxy to the wood floor that i put down last winter. I guess i had so much on my mind last year i didnt think of it then... I already plan on fiberglassing that center console, so maybe I should rip the floors back up?

and dont mind the paint or engine, the engines getting put back together as soon as my shipment of gaskets gets here, and for its paint, its a duck boat till I get the solid aluminum hull I need in order to promote this one to fishing and looks only.

Model? Not exactly sure but she looks like a nice solid utility boat, nice deep sides on that one too, cool! I wouldn't be too concerned about the model, shoot, you can make it anything you want man:)

I don't think I'd rip the floors up only to replace em (unless they are pressure treated). Run er till they get bad then rebuild when the wind strikes ya just right, eh!

after reading your post, i looked up pressure treated on this forum, and it looks like im ripping up the floors. Wish I had knew about Iboats before I did the floors. Thanks a ton for the input. If the center console doesnt touch the aluminum it should be ok, correct?

Ah rats! Stinkin pressure treated gotcha!

Well, great opportunity to build it just the way you want now.:)

Is your CC made out of PT? How is it holding up so far?

Yep, its made of pt and is holding up pretty good, even better now that i have a car port to put the boat away in. Im thinking fiberglassing it could extend the life tenfold....?

Re: I.D. this starcraft

scratch the whole floors thing, just asked dad what we used and he said it was cxt?... but he definately knew about the effects of pressure treated. Lucky me.... but this leads me to worry about the boat stand i made out of pressure treated that two of my small outboards are sitting on right now

Can't win... As for model, utility about sums it up
