Bauer that is. Man that guy has really turned into a sissy! What a pathetic ending to a pathetic season. Oh well, maybe the next day will be better.

I agree with you. It was a very lame season. Way to mushy and to much "side show". I think they heard the folks and said next year will be completely different. Guess time will tell. What happened to the Jack with the electric cords that shocked folks?

You realize that Daddy's still alive, don't you? So close to the water with a sub on the way? And then there's Milo's mysterious disappearing brother. They're already making next season. This season they had to go back and mellow-out the China thing. People in high places thought it was becoming too politically charged and didn't want China getting their undies in a bunch. So they chose to redo most of what they'd already made and take a whole different direction. I just wish they'd have gotten Donald to play the father. Stretch Cunningham as a bad guy didn't quite make it for me at first, but it grew on me I suppose. Haven't seen Kiefer's real pop around for awhile. Hope he's OK.

Don't watch 24, but found it interesting what they say about it on AlJezeera (sp?). Using Fox in general and 24 in particular as an example of how barbaric the American people are, and how we advocate torture and violence. Basically said this show is a reflection of our love for violence and our desire wipe everyone else off the map by whatever means is available and necessary.

Maybe that world view had something to do with it being tamed down. Dunno?

Could be Aspeck. It certainly was tamed down, well except for the nuke going off in Californy. It really turned into a soap opera this year.
Willy, yeah maybe next year is set up but with this crew ya never really can tell. I'm not ready to give up yet but next year better be good.

I agree this season was weak but it still was entertaining for me. Weren?t they grooming Doyle to take over when Jack dies or retires? DAMMIT! Kiefer signed on for three more years but I think he is getting tired of playing the part. No way can silver spoons replace Jack, especially since a bomb blew up in his face and they suggested he would be blind. I agree the old man made it off the platform; he?ll reappear next year and cause more trouble. Also, Chloe is pregnant but by whom? We are lead to believe it?s Morris but they are divorced, separated or whatever. We never see them in an intimate relationship. Remember she had a one night stand with an agent. Jack should have kicked Heller in the nuts and given him some shock treatments just for fun and then thrown him off the balcony and into the ocean. Heller shows no respect, especially since Jack saved him and his daughter. Jack should have got Audrey and left, she?s too hot to leave behind. Buchannan should have sent Cheng back to China in pieces. I hope we see Bill back next year, I like Bill Buchannan.

So in season one jack was a republican, but now he's a liberal?

Why doesn't he just try sympathizing with the bad guys. I am sure they would start being nice if they were just understood.
