Hi All !
Well, I had someone with a flywheel puller take it off tonite and found,my gut to be right, a big crack all around one of the coils, the other had hot spots around that , the points and condencers look older than dirt.I just picked up
a tune up kit yesterday, but I guess I got a few more things for the shopping list. I now need to get the fuel pump as well,it's leaking like a sive. I found an engine repair shop 12mi.away from me who has everything I need in stock so thats cool.I did pick up a repair manual when I got the tune up kit,so I can
understand alot more of what I need to do from starting to storing for winter.
I appreciate everyones help and as well as their patients for my questions and my guesses. I'm sure I'll have more to come.:D

that age is due to replace everything under the flywheel. including plug wires. impeller, and carb kit.
