I got 2-stroke Oil everywhere

Can SeaFoam clean-up oil build-up in my cylinders and carbs?
I need something that goes into the Fuel tank too.

Not sure why, but when changing my plugs, I noticed thick Oil all over everything. Probably got it from a bad pre-mix my Dad offered me for "free".

It would not hurt to try. If there is alot of oil build up in the fuel tank and carbs, I would remove them and clean those out first. You might even replace all fuel lines.

seafoam deep creep will clean the engines innards. (engine faq forum "decarb") seafoam fuel stabilizer is good for the tank. what engine are we talking about and year.

I understood that Seafoam Deep Creep is just the aerosol version of Seafoam. Same stuff, just different delivery method.

I had 2 cycle mix all over my boat, but it was because my oil tank sprung a leak. Joy detergent and some patience cleaned my engine bay and hull!

This is my 1995 100HP Merc.
If you recall in a thread last week, that I noticed the dealer installed the wrong plugs in the spring.
Since then, I have been doing my own maintenance.

Sounds like I am going to de-carb the engine with the older spark plugs, then give the motor a good running before winterizing.
