i got a 1983 70hp Johnson that i got to ????please help fish are bitting

I got a 1983 70hp Johnson That i just bought...carbs, are all good and clean pump water a1.....

my problem is it starts right up push the key for the fuel primer crank it and its running runs at a idea just fine rpm up real high no problem....now time to take it off the trailer i shift it in to gear and it will start to die if i push the key in it take right off.... after run if it idel to long it wasnts to die just push the key in and it good to go.....

will take all advice....

i forgot to add it also does this after i set fishing for a lil bit i got to doe it all over......

activating the primer, buy pushing the key, say fuel starvation problem, air leak, weak fuel pump, carb contamination, dirty filters, remove the black cover on the fuel pump, see if there is trash in the screen. becareful of the orings. also misadjusted low speed needle, see TOP SECRET FILE for adjustments. you have 2 fixed jets, and 1 adjustable.

thanks for the advice... it really funny cause i can start it up idel really high take it down... put it in gear push the key in and it runs great back it down to N and shift again i got to push it in again

i did see the carb adjustment for my carbs what one is it on that page

I see the page with carbs adjustment but i didnt see what one was for my carbs....

so far i aint got any where on it..

i have look and looked again and have not found any valve that i can adjust.. on the dieagram i have 25 26 and 27 ... if i pull the #26 screw out with the gasket on it... the only thing in there is 27 oriface #42 thats all al so on the dieageam it show 30 and 31 i dont se any thing in there beside 25 26 and 27....
from the way it looks is this what i am mising
