i have a 1995 25hp manual start not getting fire

:'( i think my power pack is bad i ohm it out plug 2 plug ihave no ohms there i ohmed the coils i have ohms there can any body help me before i buy a power pack

You can't test a pak with a ohm meter, can you tell us what test you have done?

actually i took it off the motor, to get it tested. i was told to put it back on to test it . so i took my voltage meter and placed it in the plugs that go to the coils . disconneted it from the sensor , to ohm the plugs. ther was no ohms, but i ohmed the coils and there was ohms .do i unplug the pak from the coils and put my leads in the plugs that goes to the coils ?

You can do an ohm's test on the coils, charge coil, and sensor, not on the pak itself.. You need a manual to trouble shoot this system.

the only way to test the pack is buy another one
most tech trouble shoot these by using a good known pack. i know u do not want to spend the $ on one but u always could call around and ask if somebody has one u could. call around also for a Johnson manual not an aftermarket one
