I recently mentioned to my closest friend that I had become bored with my 1960 Glass par run about boat because it was small and i wanted something bigger for next year. He pointed to the back of his propery where there was a 18.5 foot Bell Boy boat that he had gotten sometime ago . I had never really gave it a second look because I had thought it was wood. Upon closer examination I saw it was fiberglass and in relitily good shape. I am still kind of in shock as to the kindnerss of my friend. I am planning on putting the 75 horse johnson and also a 75 horse evinrude. I am not sure if that is over kill. The cabin has a sink,place for a head and water tanks. All the windows are there and the duel axle trailer is nice. I see that i will be busy throughout the winter here in Montana. Could I get some feedback from you experienced boaters and let me know if its worth it,where i could get advice about rebuilding Bell Boys,history or????
