I have a dilemna

I had every intention of buying a 1989 grumman in good shape with a galvie trailer and a great running 30 horse merc. Had a different guy offer me an old mirrocraft with a windshield steel trailer towable, and a 50 horse merc for the same price. 8 Bills. Mirrocraft is older.. Probably 70's, but both aluminum, and in good shape. Grummin is bare bones stock. 3 bench seats and motor. Mirrocraft has steering and throttle. Arrg.. Any thoughts?

I have been saving pennys since last august to get a decent boat. Im selling my old 14' alumicraft with a 1956 evinrude 7.5 w/ pressure tank and rebuilt steel trailer for 4 bills, (thanks for all the help again getting it running) maybe i can afford both.. Seems like 2 good deals. Old mirrocrafts decent boats? If you count the time i spend re-habbing my old boats, they would all be worth thousands. I could be a gluvit sponsor...Anyone else get a foot of snow yesterday?

If my psycic powers are working correctly , then Spinner is saying use the best parts of each deal then sell the boat/motor/trailer you dont want--Or was that just too plain obvious

this is what can be done with the mirror craft, this is a 1956 Duracraft. i made the seats.http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=235247. it will make you a day cruiser, and a fisher.

this is what you can do with the grumman, this is a 1960's LoneStar, with remote control, and stick steering at the middle seat.
