With a manual toilet it could be one one of them. Some of the older boats would pull the water from under the boat (sea or lake), then later they pulled water from the water tank. Follow the water line and see where it goes. If it goes to the hull there will be a thru hull fitting and a shut off valve.

I followed the hose and it goes into the hull with a valve, so it will get it from the sea or lake then. Now how this works?

how the water gets in from the sea or lake ?

The handle is a pump. You pump to flush.
If it's really old, it flushes out under hull, too.
