I have a trim pump problem. Need help.

I have an 86 liberator. Everything worked last season great. Just de winterized boat yesterday and noticed that the outdrive will go down but will not go up. But when I push the trailer switch it raises the outdrive all the way. Any suggestions on what too do.
Family was hoping to go out on the boat this weekend.

maybe the solinoid gone bad.do you have one or two?anyway you will see a blue and a green wire which feeds the pump and these have to be supplied with 12v.
remember green for grass =down
blue for sky =up
if you get a 12 v jumper wire directly from battery briefly and touch onto the terminals one should make it go up and the other down.chance is you've lost supply and could be a wire in the sender to the drive broken also.if you have a multimeter you should be able to chase the fault.no magic cure only you can see what u have.
