Can some one help me find the serial # for this 1990 90hp Force? It'a Model 90-GX90C. I have found some numbers on the engine and they are:719518 & m839837.
Are either one of these it? The transom bracket has been chainged so it is not there for me to get that information from.

The only place the serial number will be is on the id tag on the transom mount. Your model number is actually 906x90c. Thats a six 6 , not a g.

The serial number for your motor should be 4 digits. (like 1137)
It means nothing, as all identifying info is in the model number for your motor.

If you had a newer motor, the serial number would be similar to OE023123, and would be used to determine the year.

If you need a serial number for your insurance company, pick one and give it to them. I like the m839837 number.

Thank you Admiral. That was why I needed that information. I did not know the "g" was actualy a "6" and now the Model # makes since.
