Not bad huh? The motor is supposed to run but I haven't tried yet. Can't complain for only paying $100.

Its not one of the nicest boats I've ever seen but if I was offered to me for $100 I'd take it.

Did you know the seller?

Hey, if it runs and floats, it's a steal! ;)

Con grats on buying your boat.
I couldn't buy my first boat till I was 40 years old and it was a clunker You appreciate better when you do it on your own no MA & PA.

:) Enjoy ;)

I had a 1995 18 ft. Procraft w/ a Mercury 150 I sold about 10 months ago due to being injured at work. I saw this one and just couldn't pass it up. Sure it needs work but I don't mind. There was a misprint in the paper, stating it was a 15 Merc instead of a 115 so I'm sure a lot of people didn't bother calling.

If this was your first boat, we'd all be thinking "Boy, is he in for a surprise...just wait until he drops several grand before it hits the water".

But, you've had a previous boat, so you know what you've bought and what is needed. Looks like good potential. Parts and advice readily available. Have fun getting it ready.

A project boat is always a lot of fun, specially when you get a super buy like you did. You don't have to worry about putting a few bucks into it to get her on the water. It's when you pay 10 or 15 grand for what turns out to be a project boat thats a kick in the teeth.
Stalker

It would appear that the 2 wheels are worth the $100 you paid. The rest was a freebee :D It always seems to me I work on the boat as much as I am in the boat, no matter what the boat costs to start with anyway.

I got a similar Christmas present this winter, I had a friend give me a 12X36 jon boat. Needed a new transom board and a couple of rivets replaced, but generally a leak free puddle jumper boat that can be car-topped or slid in the back of a pickup fairly easily.

Really, too small for my needs, but the price was certainly right.

And, I will find a way to use it (hehe)

Ron
