Just got to fire my boat up won't idle for crap. Things I have done are:
Emptied fuel tank.
Rebuilt all carbs.
Replaced fuel lines.
Replaced fuel filters.
Changed spark plugs.
Replaced clamps on all hoses.
While they are at idle the starboard engine keeps making a sound like "dunk" "dunk" "dunk" and stalls or starts running backwards. I think they are misfires but I'm not certain what they are called.
The port engine runs way better with the occasional "dunk" but shift into gear and it dies. It is idling at around 1100 rpm in neutral.
I'm looking for the next step here. I know a lot of people have problems like these, hopefully somebody can chime in and help me clear mine up. The engines are 200's '88s or so.
