I live in NC and want to do a river tour

I have a Mercury 125 and 25 gallon gas tank and would love to be able to go from one gas station to another along a river to create a long exploration trip in my new boat.

Any suggestions?

Any navigable river for a power boat. Just looking for a little adventure that includes boating and maybe camping on the river too.

Where in NC are you located?
Most of the rivers i know of have dams every 15 to 20 miles.
I'm sure near the coast you could find more options.
