ok... i replaced all the cables, throttle, steering, and shift on my 1977 35hp evinrude OB and lost the little tube (threaded on both ends) that holds type 400 cables to the motor or control box. the piece that you tighten one screw to crimp the cable end and tighten the other to hold the cable in place.

can post photos tomorrow if needed.

need to know what this is called so i can buy a new one or set.

also what are the plastic pieces that connect the cable to the motor. the piece that you run the cable into then tighten the above mentioned piece to hold in place? its tubular, usually plastic, has a hole perpendicular to the cable that attaches to either the shift or throttle on the OB

Thanks S/F

You lost the cable clamp, part number 303222. The end fitting is called a Casing Guide, part number 377850.

You can probably buy either one of them right here at iboats. Call a customer service rep at 800-914-1123. If iboats doesn't have them, you can buy the parts through www.shop.evinrude.com.
