My dad wants to take rides fishing on my older Mako. He can use a step ladder to get in when its on dry land. But I see him getting out as a problem. the step from the deck to the rail of my boat is high. Has anybody built or used a step to help a person get out of a boat. you know step from the deck to the step to rail to the dock

Excellent question:

Doing some searching, I found this deal:

On Iboats:

and

Looks like there are solutions.

How about a swim ladder hung on the inside?
Can he sit on the rail and (with assistance) swing his legs around the other side?
