Well damn. 18 viewers and no one to help. I wouldn't recemend buying a Chrysler motor, because if you ever need help with one, everyone will give you a blank stare.:D:D:D

I'll stay with OMC's

I don't know about that, I have both OMC and a 7.5 Chrysler, Love my Chrysler.

Try Franz Marine, http://franzmarine.com/ may have to pay retail, but the 7.5s are normally kept, I know I have replaced the CD pack at 150.00, and the lower unit at 100.00, the hand starter pinon gear (the top one) at 50.00. Even after spending all this money through the years, I still feel I have had a good deal on my engine.

Hope that above helps.

Thanks gamble. Finally someone answers:D

Yea, my little motor is actually in pristine condition. It's almost like new, infact, but aparently, the hood latch set up on these was rather weak. The guy I got this from, had a bunjee cord hold the hood down while he ran it, but I want to get the parts and fix this up right.
