I need a prop recomendation!!!!

1985 Evinrude 40hp!!! 14 ft bateau conversion into a center console. Around 400 - 500lbs added to original weight. OMC says 12.25X15 What do you guys think? Need help

Hard to say without a tachometer reading. That engine should be able to turn a minimum of 5500 RPM, with a light load. 5k with a moderate load.

Find out where you are now.

Keep in kind: One inch of prop is worth 200 RPM, either way.

I'm thinking, top of head, a 15" pitch.
