I need a shorter steering cable, dont know what brand to order

I posted this question earlier but think i was in the wrong section.
I have a 16' 91 Aluma Weld boat that I recently replaced the motor with a 60hp ETEC. I changed the floor plan up some and moved the console back 2'. My steering cable is now 2' to long and I need a shorter replacement rotary cable. There is no brand on the cable or rotary steering gear and I was wondering where to get a shorter cable. I used Teleflex instructions on cable measurement and got 9' for the cable I need. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached some pics, when I took the rotary system apart I found
RC 440 and RC 442 on some internal parts.

It all depends on what brand the helm is. I found out the hard way that some (probably many) of the older helms are no longer supported and had to get a brand new system.

I was hoping someone could identify this thing by the pics. It is from a 91 boat, which I consider pretty new compared to all of the 70's and 80's boats on the water.

Just go to a dealer for teleflex ita a special order & order the kit w/the helm too..

Ayuh,... Steering is reasonably Cheap when talkin' Boats...

For a couple extra bucks, you get the Complete system, Helm, 'n Cable over the price of the cable Alone....
