I need a starter

I need a starter for my 88 5.0 merc and have been looking around for a while on ebay for a good reman or a new one. My question is that when I look around the prices range from cheap (60$) to expensive (300$). I am willing to buy a good product but is it necessary to spend that much on a starter? What brand should I be looking for or looking to stay away from? I believe this is the part number I am looking for 864340a2 and this is what I am leaning towards http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MAA-9-15900/
What do you guys think?

I like Summitracing for parts - they have good prices and good customer service. Another option you may want to consider is finding a local shop which rebuilds starters. You can usually do that cheaper. Just make aure they are familiar with marine starters.

I figured Summit because I know they will stand behind what they sell and you know what you are getting.

Yah man, i looked up that part on THIS SITES parts store and saw several that were middle of the road between the prices you quoted. When i go to a store i dont like buying the cheapest available anymore. I look for their level of service.
