Re: I NEED a stator!!!!!!!!!

You can go to a local marina and get a good deal at this time of season because they dont want to mess with old forces cause they have newer and bigger projects to work on. They want to get you out the door asap LOL. I got my used 85hp powerhead for next to nothin. Good condition too!

Re: I NEED a stator!!!!!!!!!

I do all the mechanical work myself I can afford shop labor. I was hoping that mabey someone here might have an old junk force with a good ststor they would sell or know where I could locate 1. I found 1 but its burnt out too. I'm thinking of trying to rebuild it myself. it looks tedious and frustrating, but if it will save a few bills it'd be worth it.

Re: I NEED a stator!!!!!!!!!

myine is an 86 model force 125 serial# 1251x6b. part # is listed above. the # on the stator body isFCC3007B. I have never oredered from ebay b4. was always afraid to send that much info out on the net. If ebay is the only way to go I guess thats what I will do, but would prefer to send a money oreder or cashiers check directly to the buyer. get back to me

Ebay is a good source for used stators. You don't actually give any of your billing info to the seller, sign up for paypal, it is a secure site that will charge your credit card then transfer the money over to the seller. The other place you can look is craigslist, its a free classified ads site, not sure if you've heard of it or not. There are frequently blown motors there in my area that have good electrical parts for around $100
