I need chairs for my houseboat. Any suggestions?

I have a 52' houseboat, pictured on left, and I need some chairs for the upper deck. My problem is that I'm not really sure how the top deck will hold up to moving chairs around. I think that the top deck is basically made of plywood with the same fiberglass covering that is on the rest of the boat. I've considered the cheap $8 chairs that Walmart sells, but I believe that they would scratch the surface. Plus, they scream of "cheap."

So, any suggestions?

Thanks,

Yeah that's how it's built. Without covering it your probably gonna scratch it. Why can't people move a chair without dragging it? I don't know I'd use whatever you like best and probably worry about it latter, but that's up to you.

Love the boat!

That's too beautiful of a boat to use PVC chairs on. They scream "cheap skate."

Look at CampingWorld.com or go into any large RV dealer for fantastic folding chairs at reasonable prices. They're worth the investment.

I carry folding retractable reclining chairs in my RV.

Some aluminum porch chairs of any variety will work, you can put pads on them to keep from scratching.

its going to take a heck of a chair to go thru the fiberglass....

and even if they do......a quick sand....a full layer of glass....some roll on gellcoat with sand in it....and bingo......beauty boat back again...

get the chairs you want.....but not so light they will blow away in a medium wind
