Ok, First off, i bought 2 kits but the were from different companys apparently but basically had the same parts. The issue i had was with item 38 in this picture. (bearing for needle). In one kit, this part and the front retainer were kinda rubbery. My carbs had sat for years and after soaking, i could not see any avidence of this part in either carb. I slid the first one on the needle and was able to push it past the threads and screw the needle in. when i went to do the next carb, the plastic was so rigid, i could not get it into the hole. i got it jammed into the threads but couldnt get it to go. finally i just had to take my knife and screw it out. I have an extra but right now i am running without it and other than some fine tuning, things seem pretty good. Should i even worry about trying to get the other one in or just leave it alone? The kit that had 2 in the bag was the kit with the hard plastic bearing so i know im going to have the same problem if i try again but im worried what will happen if i just leave it out.
