Can anyone tell me what year this 3hp sea bee is # 225-3606 serial#588436 and where to get parts maybe web site or friend of friend, Im into johnson and evinrudes this cant be much more different thanks Brian

Motor is a 56 single built by the Gale devision of OMC.Similar to the 3D13 Gale motor.It shares ignition parts with E/J motors of similar years.The rest of the parts are specific to the motor and similar private brands built by Gale.
Do not remove the cylinder end cover as it is almost impossible to reinstall correctly.
You may find help at aomci.org.I found a factory and aftermarket ser. manual on ebay that covers these motors.

Thanks for info, gonna mess with it this winter, plan on puttin it on 12ft john boat with not alot of room the gas tank on motor will come in handy and give me more room for my feet, it may not break any speed records but it beats rowing,got 6hp evinrude will work fine but gas tank will be in the way have a good one.
