Which is why I suggested you have the admiral do it a few months back as she did your bathrooms....

You pay for the plane ticket and shipping my toolbox of DAs and sanding boards and we can knock it out in a few hours. Ain't nobody got time for sanding blocks

don't die before you use it.
I use my vacation and personal. The hope is i eventually transition back into the professional group. In which case they buy down sick time at a 1:1 rate above 384. As it sits right now it's actually difficult to use all the time I earn as it is. If I burned all 500 now they wouldn't see me until october with how my schedule works from now on.

yeah i had about 350 when ATT bought us. They kept 'strongly urging' us to use it because they may not pay it out. Wife bought into that game, she got down to about 20 hours. I cashed in and we took a nice vacation.

Today was supposed to be a rainy day according to the weather forecasts. So, I planned to do the electrical work, given that the boat has the camper canvas up.

Of course, it was bright & sunny, but I did the electrical stuff anyway, taking a break from the block party.

The Honda engines (like the Mercurys) want 'clean power', which is a direct connection to the engine batteries. The clean power lead from Honda is 12 feet, and my re-power guy prefers not to have to extend the wiring. So, I moved the engine batteries aft to a point where the 12 foot harness would easily reach. Hopefully it will be enough.

I then needed to run leads back to the electrical boxes (Port & Starboard) for the switched portion of the electrical.

I also ran the fuel lines back through the extension bracket with 5-6 feet of extra safe measure.

Here is my handy work getting things laid out and fastened.

The bilge pump and related wiring is a bit of a rat's nest. . . . I'll have to sort it out.

One nice thing about my boat (Cruisers Yacht) is that every wire is labeled along its length with a name & number so it can be referenced on the wiring diagrams. (which I have)

Here is the wiring for the underwater lights . . .

These wires I found in the aft harness and they say "fuel sender"

Kind of strange since the fuel tank is mid-ship.

The block party resumes tomorrow. 😁

Ted, did you pull the fuse for the trim tab pump? would hate for you to bump the switch and spray ATF into the fresh bilge

Just wondering where is your sound system at? I have the same Sony remote you have pictured on far right. As far as I know their current units no longer support the LED readout that remote was intended to, and used to, display. For my cheap Sony head unit that remote's buttons still function but the display doesn't. If I lose my place I have to open the glove box to read the head unit.
