while working on my new (to me ) 1995 Armada with a Mec 3.0 and Alpha 1 out drive , I noticed that the power tilt/trim pump was some what oily.
It is located in the very back behind the fuel cell so I figure it has not seen much maintenance.
Was going to give it a good cleaning so that I can see later if there are any wet spots that might indicate a leak.
But upon inspection I noticed what looks to be a missing part ? I looked all over inside the rear of the boat and can not find anything loos laying around. Nothing that looks like it should be there.?
I do not want to start spraying cleaner/d-greaser around there if there is a chance that it might get inside the reservoir . And if it it missing a part I want to get it fixed. If that area gets water in it from swimmers I do not want water to contaminate the fluid.
Any ideas ?
