wanting to pull dana outdrive & engine on 36ft.<br />gibson all still in working order but thinking of <br />installing 2 new outboards on jackplates to get away from carbon,gas fumes for safety as well as dependabilty. was thinking of 85s to 115s. also<br />what about shaft lengths.

A neat project. When you do the glasswork, add the supports for the tansom for strength. You will need a bracket for the correct set back in order to tilt the outboards. You can sdd the jackplates to the bracket. <br /><br />The transom angle is going to be important. You will have to give that info to your bracket builder. Then the bracket will have the correct angle for the outboards. <br /><br />Good luck!

Did you say 36'...better start thinking twin 250's if not triple. You'll have quite a project there. Transom strength is key with 30" motors. Send pictures when done.

I do believe your talking about a lot of time and money. Not trying to scare you away but,your talking about 30,000 in engines not including holes to patch ,bracket for the new setup,harnesses,guages,ign. switches,shifters and cables. hope you have deep pockets.
