Anybody have any tips on replacing a 79 Sea Ray SRV 200 transom?

Yup. Pull the outdrive, pull the engine, pull everything that is connected to the transom. Cut the inner wood out, glass in new wood, reinstall everything, and go boating. Be prepared to have to do the floor and stringers, they can be rotted too if the transom is rotted. Yeah, that was a bit simplistic, but that is what is done in a nutshell. Good luck....

Thanks for the info. Any suggestions on the best way to get the plywood out? It's probably bonded to the fiberglas with resin, isn't it?
