I'm having problems with motor decisions. Its time to upgrage my boat situation and am looking at buying a larger boat. I have always had 20'-24' CC's w/ outboards but am looking at the Tiara 2600's. These come with all different types of motors.

I am looking for advise as to pros and cons for IO, Inboard, 2 stroke vs. 4stroke as far as over all performance, fuel consumption ect ect.

Hope to start a long thread and debate

I guess it all depends on what you intend to use the boat for (fishing, cruising, diving, etc).

As a fisherman, I'd opt for a pair of 4-stroke Yamaha outboards.

The question has been asked before. If you want to see - go to the red search at the top of the page and enter 2 cycle vs 4 cycle & read away.
