i bought a trolling motor a 12/24 volt to replace my 12 volt motor. i need help with my battery connections. the outlet plug is a 12/24 with 4 electrode connection sites available, 2 positive cables and 1 negative cable are presently attached leaving 1 open site. the cables lead to the 2 deep cycle batteries. i just found out that my 12/24 outlet plug HAS A BUILT IN JUMPER WIRE ALLOWING FOR the 12-24 option. my question is do i connect another negative cord to the open electrode on the back of the oulet plug leaving me with 2 positive and 2 negative cables to hook up to my batteries without the normal jumper cable. does any one else have a plug with is built in jumper, if so how did you hook yours up. thanks for all your help i'm sure i'll figure this out eventually
