I have a 2004 115 Johnson EFI outboard, I don't see any wire that is just comming from the alternator All I see is a wire going right to the battery for charging and starting. So I don't see anyway I can hook up this Guest Battery isolator which requires a connection to the alternator.

What I'm really looking for has some kind of isolator that I can connect to the Starting Battery, then it switches on when it sees 14 volts to charge the secondary battery.

Does anyone sell something like that?

Buy a combiner instead. It just goes between the two batteries and is actually a lot better than an isolator.

This is the best way to go!!

This is the best way to go!!

It may be a bit expensive at around $150 but this is the best way to wire up your boat with one battery for starting and one for the house supply (electronics, switch panel, etc.)
