Hello to all of you and I hope you're having a great season...I've written a few times regarding this Maxum boat with a 50 hp Force. I know what the general opinion of these motors is but when pricing a replacement motor, I think I'll stick with what I have. It does only have about 15 hrs on it so maybe there's hope. Anyway, does anyone know what the best prop would be for this motor in terms of speed and not power. It's a 1990 and I don't have the first clue about props and their specs. I just though maybe someone out there had some experience with this motor and could offer some advice.
Thankyou and have a great weekend!!!!!!

What will also be needed to determine this is the size of the boat? What RPM's are you turning now on the eninge with the current prop? What is the curent prop Pitch on the boat now? This should be stamped on the prop itself somewhere.

The experts will need this before they can help you. I figured I'd tell you this, before you waited to long not to hear anything, or someone else would post this to you. With this info they can give you answers, not questions as I have. lol

Hope this helps.

I've got a Force 125 88 model, its got over 500 hrs on it and runs perfect. Never had a problem with it. Just make sure that you baby this thing and take care of it, and it will last for a long time.

Thanks,
Bryan Cox
