Ignition switch went bad and i could not find a replacement locally. Decided to go the toggle switch route as n fun project. I wired it like the pic and it work fine. I am justj concerned that i missed something and burn up a component after the motor runs for a while.

Yeah. The purple (sometimes a red wire with a purple stripe) is 12v after you turn on the ign switch like would go to your fuel gauge or your tach or anything else that needs 12v that you don't want sucking on the battery if the ignition is off. Running lights need to be directly wired to the batt via the light switch because you need them whether your engine is running or not.

Nice clean installation. The red protective cover over the toggle switch makes me think about James Bond and the bad guys launching something. Grin
