I fish not stop and fish for several species all year. I fish lakes all over Oklahoma and TX. I drive a bass boat with the MFG plasterd on the side in huge letters and #'s and would like to have a professional looking rig with a nice wrap on it instead.

I would be willing to let a good company wrap it at their cost and nothing else in return. I catch tons of good fish and do online fishing reports as well and would like to have a great looking rig to do it in.

If you have any leads please let me know.

I'm not sure I understand your question. You would be "willing" to allow a company to wrap your boat for cost? What's in it for the company? I'd be willing to let Ford sell me a new truck at their cost to build it, but I don't think they're going to take me up on it. I don't want to rain on your parade, but I don't think any company is going to wrap your boat for cost.

They would cover the wrap, not pay for the boat. Advertising is whats in it for them. Not only while i'm on the lake but driving down the road as well.

People love to talk fishing and fishing and boating products. Lets face it, what the first thing you ask someone when you see them with a great fish? What did you catch it on or what kind of equipment are you useing????

A nice boat with a nice wrap draws attention from everyone and when they see that combined with good fishing they remember it.

Re: I want to get a boat wrap

are you wanting the wrap company to cover the cost or the fishing gear company in question covering the cost?

I assume the wrap company has all their vehicles wrapped already and any companies that would pay for their name on a boat have given the guy fishing out of the boat full sponsership.

I think your fisrt step is to attempt full sponsorship.....

You are looking for a boat wrap sponsorship? How about a trailer tire sponsorship? Why not an anchor sponsorship? Do you have your own television show?

Good luck with that one without a TV series.;)

Re: I want to get a boat wrap

When the PT Cruisers first came out my nephew bought one. A company paid him monthly to "wrap" his car. I believe it was $100 a month. It was kinda strange, he signed a contract giving them permission to wrap his car for one year. After he signed they told him it could be up to a year before they called him to get the car wrapped. The contract time started after the wrap was complete. He said they took pictures of his car and marked all the blemishes before they wrapped it. It was to prove the wrap didn't cause any damage when the time came to remove it. They had some rules but, they really weren't enforced. They wanted him to park it in the street instead of his driveway, had to keep it clean, take the car back for repair if the wrap was damaged etc.
They called him six months later and basically put a sticker that covered his entire car. The wrap had advertisement for many local businesses. At the time the agency told him they were looking for Pt Cruisers, VW bugs and Hummers. Supposedly someone did a study and they determined those to be the only cars most kids under ten could name. So, I guess they seemed like good platforms to advertise off of.
For whatever reason I haven't seen anymore of these wrapped cars in a few years. I only see the ones that are owned by Redbull in my area.
I think the op was looking for something like this.

Ya never know until you try!! You just talk someone into it, Where you boat is it highly populated with boaters, make a video of yourself out on the lake and talk to them as if they where the ones your talking to and copy(burn) the video to dvd's and send them out, worse thing that can happen is your still stuck with the one you have now, it's worth a shot at least.
