I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Kenny for his excellent OMC advice and guidance with different repairs for OMC owners. This is becoming harder and harder to find and is really helpful. I am lucky that I have an excellent OMC mechanic that is local to me who got my Cobra shift problems worked out when we first bought this boat (2002) over the years I have learned to do all the maintenance including the tricky shift cable adjustment. As long as I can get parts I will keep the Cobra going, but the knowledge that Kenny has provided is extremely helpful, especially for owners of Stringer drives which are just about impossible to get serviced here...

thanks again
Lou

No doubt.

But don't sell yourself short, Lou. Both you and Kenny have been absolute gems on this stuff. I've learned a lot just reading both of your posts - and I don't even have my OMC anymore! :D

Thanks guys.

Many thanks guys, I know how frustrating things can be when you cannot find any reliable assistance. Believe me I have been there many times myself and have learned to appreciate any help I can get.
