I was thinking of getting a trolling motor

I have a hookup for one at the bow, but then I realized I probably can't put one up there with the bow rail, can I? I don't even know what the bow mounted ones go for, all I seem to see at the stores are the transom mounts. Any ideas?

adam, the best thing is to scroll clear to the bottom of this page and click Contact Us. This will send a message directly to one of the mods who will take care of it.

This question has been asked a number of times with only a few answers. They usually involve building a spacer using square aluminum tubing so that the motor mount clears the rail or removing a chunk of thhe rail wide enough to clear the trolling motor and using elbows and uprights to reattach it to the deck.

Use advanced search and enter trolling rail in the keyword and you should find some of these posts.

Depend on how your bow rail is configured (got any pics?). I cut the rail on a boat that I had and it didn't require any elbows, just reattaching it farther back. My rail was L shaped. The end closest to the window just passed through a hole there. I just pulled it out, cut a foot off, pushed it back in the hole and reattached it to the bow. Worked really good and looked good.

Do you have pictures of that? Not to continue posting the same picture over and over, but here is the rail on mine:

Nice boat! I think it will be tough on that bow rail to make a troller fit. But maybe someone else has done it. Mine was a tri-hull with a bow rail down each side so it was easier.

Good looking boat! Hope you come up with a workable solution.
