I would like some comments on some deck boats,I'm looking at getting one for the 07 season,the ones i'm looking at are the TAHOE 204 and the FOUR WINNS 204 funship. Any comment or opinions would be appreciated.
The Four Winns is more upscale than the Tahoe. So I would expect quite a bit higher price on the Four Winns. Hurricane, NauticStar, and Starcraft also have nice designs in this size. All of those should be under the Four Winns price.
i like the design of the deck boat. we bought a 1999 Chris Craft 230 w 5.7 volvo penta. great boat, rated for 13 people and could handle more. good ski, tubing, party boat. 100% pleased.

My only comment is that many deck boats have relatively low deadrise (angle of Vee) at the stern. This should not be an issue on smaller lakes and rivers, but if you encounter any truly rough water I would look for at least 18 degrees preferably 20.
