i would like to pump up my 25hp evinrude to the max

i have a 1984 evinrude 25hp engine sitting around at my house, i wanna pump it up as high as it will go without spending a fortune, or degrading engine dependability. Can i actually get anymore power and if i need to buy parts where do i buy them?

CropDusterPilot<br />Best bet is to tune it up and make sure runs good, file any nicks off the prop, give it a good wax job.<br /><br />Then sell it and buy motor you want.<br /><br />Good luck
