[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Arial, sans-serif]Most of us got in to boating as a family experience. Our parents owned a boat and we would pester them to go boating as often as we could. Boating delivers great family fun. That's why we love boating no matter what our age. [/FONT]
[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Arial, sans-serif]Like quite a few of us who are frugal or too sentimental, I still have my dad's boat. His early wood boats are long gone but his 1970 14' Alumacraft is still in use today. He started using it with a well-traveled 1939 Evinrude "Mate" 1.5hp outboard he purchased before going in to the Navy for WWII. The little Evinrude was fine for a couple years but eventually we graduated to a 1971 Mercury 9.8 hp outboard that still pushes it around the lake today. [/FONT]

Tom has been and continues to be one of the top photographers in the marine industry for well, we'll just say decades. He's been an avid boater since he was able to be carried on to the boat by his parents. You've probably seen his images in many boating magazines for articles and ads around the world as well as online. [/FONT]
[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Lucida Grande, Arial, sans-serif]Tom's dad has had a passion for wood boats that goes back past Tom's years on this earth. Hes wanted to have another wood boat and found a reproduction of snappy little run about like he had years ago. [/FONT]
