Last time it was at least partially correct

This time they sent my order to someone else and my repair shop got the wrong one and it cost me labor before we figured out the problem.

The iboats wanted me to wait for the other customer to send me my parts. They ignored my email and hoped I wouldn't notice. I had to insist they send out my correct parts ASAP

They have a great franchise that they will quickly destroy w bad service. Who is in charge over there? Someoine isn't minding the store

Iboats has broken their promises and lied to me. They have not corrected their own error. They have not sent me the correct parts. What do I have to do to solve this problem? I have a repair shop waiting for parts. I have been embarrassed by the ridiculous mess they created.

Yes, the thing with mistakes is to judge how they were corrected. Clearly iboats could care less about the impression they make, they obviously do not want repeat customers.

Do I need small claims court to get their attention? Emails and phone calls have not helped. Is their an iBoats CEO who I could contact?

handifly, BradC is on it. Please be patient. I know that is very hard when you need a part and you were expecting it yesterday! Hang in there, iboat's customer service has been spot on in the past, they will get it right ... I am sure.

I asked our top customer service person (Corinne) to contact you and from what she conveyed to me, she has contacted you and things are being mended. If that is not the case, please let me know. We do value you as a fellow boater as well as an iboats customer and we feel badly that your experience has not been what it should have been. As a small token of our apology, I will be emailing you an iboats gift card you can use on any product we sell. Again, thank you for taking the time to call us out on our mistakes. We hope you are willing to provide us with the opportunity of earning your business back.

I often wonder why there always seems to be a correlation between rude, threatening, abusive, and near-slanderous ranting on one hand and difficulty with getting things fixed on the other.....:confused: :)

Their sales manager spoke w me and I explained the incorrect order followed by a replacement that took a week. He gave me a 50% discount on the order AND a $50 gift certificate.

Now I am a happy camper and will be ordering for my 5 motors. With big enough orders they will even give free shipping, a great deal considering the already deep discount they provide.

Thank you Brad and Corinne for recognizing the issue and handling it so professionally.
