Whats up with iboats tonight. As iboats was loading up I had a french radio show playing on my computer. The sight loaded very slow and the radio show shut off when it finally loaded. It was BigPraire's thread on the snow they got today.

Could this phantom radio show be why iboats gets slow at times.

Make a snug fitting hat out of aluminum foil. Doesn't matter what style you make, as long as its snug, and you wear it when signing on. Don't take it off until you've signed off. The forum will speed up after only a few times.

If it was a French radio show that could be why it is slowing down the site. It is "suck"ing all the bandwidth....

Uhhhhhhhhh iboats (always spelled with a small i ;)) is not affiliated with a French radio show.

You either had the French running in the background from a malicious program............. or I have had my speaker system attached to my computer pick up stray radio signals.

veritas honus could be right but, it should be high quality foil and you really should be careful. Now remember, it you get caught blocking the radio waves.......... it will frustrate the Black Helicopter Pilots and Men in Black may come knocking on your door!!

I agree with Bob VT. High quality foil must be used with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (0.0079 in), but nothing thinner than 0.006 mm. I had to learn this the hard way.

Awwww... Come on now, you know a coander's full of holes and will only block 1/2 the signals. It won't work... You're just trying to make the poor guy look silly, aren't you. You should be ashamed of yourself. Now he's asking if anyone else wants to kick him when he's down. I think an apology is in order. Your just mean!!!;)

Come on Bob, isn't it obvious that when using a tinfoil hat for these purposes, your gonna use the highest quality available? Otherwise, what's the point? I use Reynolds Heavy Duty, myself. And the black helicopter pilots Knocking on doors?... Don't think so, Bob. The pilot and door gunners don't move from their positions. And I never heard of any entry team knocking on any door... HELLOOOOW
