iBoats Prices and Shipping

I just finished placing my order with iBoats for a Quick Attach bracket for my Minn Kota trolling motor and wanted to say a thing about iBoats, their shipping, and add to some other users comments about shipping expense.

I checked the following sites for the same product: iBoats, Gander Mountain, Cabelas, BassProShops, West Marine, and the Minn Kota site.

Shipping was roughly equal from all stores, but pricewise, I got the bracket shipped to my door for less than any of the others wanted for the bracket before shipping. Wow. I even passed up using a $25 gift certificate I had to BassPro because my total would have been about $7 less than I got it for here.

No brainer there. I have ordered several items throught the iBoats store and just read today about the pricematching guarantee.

I ditto you on iboats customer service and pricing. I was ready to place a large order, but knew I wasn't able to order it before the end of the April sales. I called customer service last week, told them the situation and they were able to freeze the pricing for me for a few more days. I placed the order today and was able to get everything at the sale price. Now that's customer service.

And I too did some shopping around on the items I wanted. An iboats was right on the money with their pricing. In many cases they were actually cheaper.

I'll throw in my .02 worth. I usually support a local marine shop, but unfortunately they closed up shop over the winter. I needed a controller and cables. Since I wasn't exactly sure of the part numbers I needed, customer service went the extra mile to call the manufacturer to make sure I was getting the right part then called me back. I got the same personalized service I always got at the local shop. I am truly impressed, plus the prices are fantastic.

I agree - great customer service. I placed an order this morning and the price I was given, was less than what was on the website. My order was placed efficiently and I received confirmation emails quickly.
