ID tag

I'm new to the forum, maybe someone can tell me where to look on an old ob I inherited from my Dad. It's a Sears 12. I'm fairly sure it's a Chrysler, but I can't find a Sears ID tag anywhere. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place,but I've always used OMC motors before, so I may have a blind spot for Sears.

Look on the port or starboard side of the mounting bracket.Look inside of the belly pan.A picture would help.A good chance it is a West Bend.There was a McCulloch 12 in 1960.West Bend numbers begin with 571,McCulloch with 574.
