Alright I've done a ton of searching and still just can't figure this out. I'm lookin to make a deal on an old maxum. He says its a 1990 2150md but I can't find info on such a model existing. He gave me a hull #TN9930DW but I'm assuming that's the registration. he also gave me #ushe45mdc090 This seems more like a hull Id number but I can't decode that either. Except that it is a 90 made in 90. Also says the title says pj941288.

So when you've googled your fingers off and can't figure it out iboats is the only place to come. Any help is appreciated.

There's the only exterior pic I can find. Ignore all the verbage in the ad, most of it is inaccurate. It has a 5.0 and I'm looking to trade my harley for it but I need to find the bluebook on it before I can go start negotiating with them. Just can't figure out the model.

Yeah that sucks. I went there the other day and typed it in. It shows that it is a 1990 made by Bayliner Marine which is of course also Maxum. But didn't give me a model. All I need is a model!!!:( It sucks cause this could be a pretty close trade if this thing turns out to be in good shape. I just don't want to bother goin to look if it blue books for 5 and my bike blue books for 8500 cause I don't think this guy is gonna come off his boat and 3k plus

Re: ID this maxum

I actually have one of these Maxums, same model number. Sorry to say that I've been wondering the same thing as you about the model number, can't find any info on it anywhere. I bought it last summer. Only got to take it out a couple of times before I had to put it away for the winter, but I really like it so far.

In my opinion $6900 may be a bit much for this boat. I paid $4900 for mine, although mine has the 4.3L V6, not a V8, and doesn't have the extras like the tower and stereo system (not sure how much these extras add to the value anyway). I'm sure the V8 adds to the value a bit, but I don't know how much. Mine just had the interior redone, and has an upgraded dual axle trailer.

Hope this helps a bit, I'll be interested to see if anyone else here chimes in any info about this boat.

Well that just helped me a ton. The tower might add about 600 in value and a little less than 1000 for the V8. Stereo doesn't really add value as far as me or the bank are concerned. But you had a new interior and a dual axle. This has roughed up back to back seats and a single axle. I don't think I'm gonna give these guys a value of more than 5500 or so. Thanks!
