Just picked up this 84 Avanti Fish & Ski. The seller let it go for a song. The front motor mount on the starboard side is bad. It looks like it has dropped down about an inch into the support and now the motor appears to be tilted. It's a 3.8 ltr V6 OMC. Any ideas on how to fix this without pulling the engine. I've got a couple of thoughts, but wanted to get some advice. There is some room to work, but not alot.

Thanks All !

Atleast it's Not a Bilgeliner............... :D :D

You're going to have to get down in there,+ Grind/ Cut that Whole Block of wood out of there,......
Then Epoxy in a Replacement piece.......

With ANY Luck at All,....... The Rot hasn't spread into the Stringers...........

Are you hopeing to Get this 1 Patched Up,+ Sell it for a Profit..??.... :D :D

Hey Bondo,

I was trembling when I saw the OMC hanging off the back, but it was too good a deal. All of the floors are rock solid and it runs great. Not a speck in the interior and a good trailer. All for $300.00 bucks. I bought it at a Mom & Pop boat dealership that doesn't normally do trade in's. He just took this one in and didn't want to mess with it. I fugure I can jack up the motor and cut the support out with a dremel and re-glass a support back in there. Probably won't be pretty but I'll get it in there.

Here's a couple more pic's.
