Identify Merc Leg?

Friend of mine is looking at a Bertram 26 with twin 4.3 litre V6 motors. Wants to ID leg type. Suspect vendor.:'''''(
ID on one leg is: OMB(or possibly 8 ) 21176. Hull is some five years old but my mate is worried about older legs being mated to engines. Should be Bravo series??? Any input welcome.

That serial number is an Alpha I Gen II transom shield, not an outdrive. You will find the drive serial number on the outdrive itself. But it will still be an Alpha, not a Bravo.
